Southend Vineyard Church are seeking to appoint a Youth Pastor to join our dynamic, caring team to oversee our youth work and continue our work with the community in Southend on Sea, Essex.
This person will organise and oversee our work with secondary aged young people, young adults and students both within and outside the church. They will support and encourage all young people to find their own personal faith through various groups and activities. Impact on those inside and outside the church to help them feel safe and impact on their fears and anxieties about crime, drugs and gangs.
This includes both supporting and leading face-to-face work with young people in The Bridge and during our Sunday services, camps and times away and other events.
Details:
• Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
• Contract: Part Time ( 20 hours a week 12 month fixed term contract)
• Salary: £13 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

As a church we would want to support the successful candidate through further training in both youthwork and theology. We would also explore options if the candidate did not have accommodation.
