Painting God’s heart for Southend

Helen Yousaf’s creative gift turning 2 pictures shared during a Love Southend prayer Zoom call into painted pictures is underway.

Helen travelled to Southend on Monday 25th October and set up in a community space accessible from the road belonging to Leigh Road Baptist Church.

People dropped in to watch, encourage and pray for Helen and the city throughout the day, including a local councillor.

Helen engaged people who came to watch in offering suggestions, choosing colours and even putting splodges of paint on canvas!

By the end of the day Helen had three eye-opening pieces of work to take home to complete. We can’t wait to see the final results!
