City ministry to the poor and vulnerable – a prayer guide

The final Love Southend worship and city prayer morning for the year was held at Southend Christian Fellowship on 11.12.25.

During the morning, following a powerful time of worship, we heard from Christian ministries serving some of the most vulnerable of our fellow citizens this Christmas / winter. Marie from ‘The Storehouse’ and Jaimes from Southend City Baptist Church shared good news stories, current ministry provision and prayer priorities.

Unfortunately, neither Natasha from Southend Foodbank nor Daniel from SVP were able to join us, but have provided us with some information included in the prayer guide.

It is a privilege to stand pray for these ministries which express the compassionate heart of God for our city, not just at this time of year but all year round. We trust the prayer guide will assist you to pray for them currently.
