Southend Street Pastors
Caring, Listening and helping
Southend Street Pastors engage with people on the streets to care for them, listen to them and help them.
They work together with other partners in the night-time and daytime economy to make our community safer.
Each city project is set up by the Ascension Trust our governing body behind Street Pastors, and run by a local co-ordinator with the support of churches and community groups, in partnership with the police, local council and other statutory agencies.
