Because we have been available at the Reflective Area near the Knife Angel on the Sunday afternoons in July, Southend Council have asked us to lead the Walk of Peace and Remembrance on July 28th – this is a great honour!
The walk starts at the top of Pier Hill at 18:45.
The Farewell Ceremony starts at 19:00 and ends with a two-minute silence at 20:15 followed by a candelit vigil (battery powered tealights only – NO wax candles please). Photos and cards in memory of a friend / loved one lost to serious violence can be placed next to the Knife Angel.
