Volunteers wanted for Southend CAP Debt Advice Centre

Volunteers wanted for Southend CAP Debt Advice Centre

Southend CAP Debt Advice Centre is an independent charity currently supported by 15 churches of various denominations. Since we started we have seen 68 individuals become debt free and 11 people make a first time commitment to Jesus. We are privileged to see God at work in countless ways beyond these statistics – often in the apparently “small things”, such as someone having the confidence to open their curtains for the first time in years.

If you would like to know more about this work, we’d be pleased to come and tell some inspiring stories at an appropriate gathering.

At present, we also have need of some volunteers to serve as debt coaches and trustees. If you would like to find out more about how you could be involved, please contact the current chair of trustees, John Western on 07969 391393.
