Initiative launched by Shoeburyness and Thorpe Bay Baptist Church Parish Nurse shortlisted for a Nursing Times award

Shoeburyness and Thorpe Bay Baptist Church are delighted that an initiative launched by their Parish Nurse Catherine, in collaboration with Shoebury Health Centre, has been shortlisted for a Nursing Times award!

Caring for the Carers, shortlisted in the Nursing in the Community category, is a drop-in clinic for carers at Kathryn Court, a local care home. This monthly clinic is an important way of helping provide access to medical advice and care for those working shifts and caring for others.
