Description
We believe a regular opportunity for the Body of Christ to come together from across the city to worship and pray for our city is a powerful way of serving God’s purposes for Southend. Through worship and interceding for the welfare of our community we look to God for the values of his heart and his powerful and wholesome ways to shape every sphere of our city, and for people to come into a personal and deepening relationship with Jesus. Everyone with a desire to pray for our city and who is available is very welcome.
Jeremiah 29:7 – …seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you…
Ephesians 6:18 – And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
James 5:16 – The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
