DESCRIPTION:We believe a regular opportunity for the Body of Christ to come
  together from across the city to worship and pray for our city is a power
 ful way of serving God’s purposes for Southend.  Through worship and in
 terceding for the welfare of our community we look to God for the values o
 f his heart and his powerful and wholesome ways to shape every sphere of o
 ur city\, and for people to come into a personal and deepening relationshi
 p with Jesus. Everyone with a desire to pray for our city and who is avail
 able is very welcome.\n\nJeremiah 29:7 - ...seek the peace and prosperity 
 of the city to which I have carried you...\n\nEphesians 6:18 - And pray in
  the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.\n\nJa
 mes 5:16 - The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and pr
 oduces wonderful results.\n\nWe are very grateful to The Living Room of So
 uthend Christian Fellowship for hosting us and for Mark Churchward leading
  our morning.
