Avenue Baptist Church is marking its 150th anniversary with a series of live music events this June, bringing together award-winning performers, contemporary gospel acts and a nationally recognised entertainer for three evenings of music, community and fundraising.
Be delighted as Jonathan closes the anniversary series with a rich variety of beautiful and well-known songs across many musical styles. And be enthralled as, in his relaxed and easy-going way, he shares his faith in God and recounts captivating, moving and humorous anecdotes from his professional and personal life.
Jonathan Veira is a world-renowned musician with a 30+ year career on the stage. He has featured on BBC Songs of Praise and is known for his one-man shows where he combines powerful music with humour and storytelling to share messages of hope, joy and faith.
Profits from this concert will be donated to the Southend Foodbank; a fantastic local charity providing emergency food and practical support to people facing hardship in our community.
