WALK THE WALK features YFriday and Pete Gilbert – and dares you to meet the real Jesus…but before then: A Call To Prayer is a two-session daytime event at the same venue, featuring guest speakers and worship led by YFriday.
Made up of band members from Newcastle, Durham and Hartlepool, YFriday are a four-piece who I happened to see wowing the crowds at Stage One of last year’s Greenbelt, on the same Saturday night as headliners, Delirious? The d:boys were to blow us away, but I still found YFriday to be highly recommendable.
See for yourself. Tickets are £3 and available from Southend, Brentwood and Chelmsford Christian Bookshops, or from the Cliffs. Doors open at 7 for a 7.30pm start. However, if you’re more interested in A Call To Prayer, it’s a FREE no-ticket-required event, that starts at 10am with an hour lunchbreak before the afternoon starts at 1pm, with it all expected to finish up around 3.
