A whole week (for starters) awaits you that will change your life and those of our town. We’re gonna slap our town and neighbourhoods with a whole lot of love delivered by you and straight from God.

Urban Extreme: Youth Week
Sunday 24th ’til Saturday 30th July 2005
Venue’s & Zones: Leigh, Westcliff, Central Southend, Southchurch + Shoeburyness.
Mornings- Youth Gatherings (signed up delegates only)
Getting together to worship God and be inspired, challenged and equipped. Music, Big Screen and inspiring speakers. Fireing you up for the afternoons and evening’s ahead.
Afternoons – On The Streets + In Your Zones
Regenerating community spaces, painting playgrounds, kids clubs, pamper parlours, sports, painting out graffiti, grafitti workshops, BBQ’s, Police ‘Kick Start’ bike courses, visiting old peoples homes and many other projects across the five zones of the borough. All backed by the borough council and local churches.
Evenings – Zone Events
Live bands, DJs, cafes and other entertainment in venues across the area from Leigh-on-Sea to Shoeburyness.
All this will culminate in a massive Beach Bash on Saturday 30th July on Southend Seafront with special guests and live music and hip-hop. More info on that to follow.
The Zones featured are: Leigh, Westcliff, Central Southend, Southchurch and Shoeburyness.
The cost for those taking part in the whole week is £20.00 and includes a free Love Southend T-Shirt and evening meals (a bargain). For those that come along to events ie. ‘Punters’ it is Free or as stated on individual event publicity.
