INSIDE ALL 152 buses in Southend (both Arriva and First Bus) is presently an evangelistic poster, courtesy of some of the local churches. It looks a bit like the images you see on this page.
Thanks to the Christian organisation, MEMO (Message On The Move) these posters will be ‘up’ for a four-week paid period…and the genius of the initiative, is that they’re likely stay there, for weeks to come. That’s because bus companies rarely remove advertising straight away, unless they have something to replace it with, in many instances.
BEARING JESUS’ words, “I tell you for certain that everybody who has faith in me has eternal life” (John 6:47) the posters also contain the Street Pastors’ logo – an attempt to remind those who’ve had contact with them on the streets, about what (or ‘Whom’) the Street Pastors are ultimately motivated by.
PLEASE PRAY
> that posters continue to remain inside the buses, for as long as possible
> that people actually read them
> that people pay attention to what they read
