“With much regret the time has come for Moorcroft Hall, Moorcroft Avenue, Daws Heath (just outside Southend) to be sold.
“The trustees of Moorcroft Hall Christian Assembly are unanimously agreed that the hall must be sold, however they would very much like to see the hall used for Christian outreach and preferably by a company of the Brethren persuasion.
“Accordingly it has been decided to make the sale known within Christian circles in the local area for a period of two months. If at the end of October 2008 no interest has been forthcoming then with much sadness it will be placed on the open market.
“The hall is of single storey and measures 24’6” x 18’4” with a flat roof fully fitted kitchen extension to the rear measuring 12’0” x 9’6”. The entrance porch measures 5’6” x 5’6” with toilets either side each measuring 6’0” x 3’0”.
“The hall is on a plot measuring 107’6” x 35’0” (approximately 36 yards x 12 yards). A single wooden gate leads to the main entrance with a double width wooden gate giving access to the main drive for parking of five vehicles. At the end of the drive is a concrete garage, with up and over door, measuring 17’0” x 8’6” with further space behind measuring 31’6” deep. There is also a side gate leading to the right of the hall leading to the rear garden. The drive and the paths at the front are all block paved.
“The hall also benefits from gas fired central heating, storage facility above the porch and toilets as well as an induction loop system for the hard of hearing.
“Enquiries can be made through David Ince (one of the four trustees) on 07899 913670 or via e-mail dm.ince@virgin.net
“It should also be noted that the trustees are thankful to Love Southend for allowing this notice of sale to be circulated.”
