Opportunities to help Survivors of Modern Slavery

The Southend Against Modern Slavery Partnership working in partnership with churches and community organisations towards a slavery-free Southend. The Survivor Care Project connects survivors of modern slavery within the Southend area with volunteers who are befrienders, mentors or practical helpers.

The aim of this project is to work with survivors in order to reduce social isolation and loneliness, as well as build confidence and resilience to reduce the risk of re-exploitation.

We are looking for volunteers to be trained in April/May www.samspartnership.org.uk/survivorcare
