Helen has been a great source of inspiration and help to us in Love Southend. She led our combined churches Christmas celebration in 2019, singing prophetically over a member of the Council who was present and who was clearly touched by the evening. We have also used her inspirational artwork to distribute to hospitals and other emergency service settings during the pandemic, this being typical of the feedback:
‘I just wanted to thank you and everyone at Love Southend for reaching out to our Southend hospital staff by the card you sent followed by the art pack of ‘Hope’ by Helen Yousaf.
I was privileged to see the impact on different people. Staff were blessed to know even their families were being prayed for. The ‘Joy comes in the morning’ picture was one that brought big smiles and hope.
The ‘Come to me’ picture was loved most and I sent a few people the video of Helen painting and they were so blessed. These are just a few examples.
It’s easier to share Jesus these days. Praise the Lord.’
NHS Nurse
Helen’s latest project is to create an album of music and to create artwork specifically to bring comfort, strength and hope to those who are close to death or grieving. When completed the compilation and artwork will be provided free of charge to hospitals, hospices, care homes and any appropriate setting which would like it.
Supporting Helen
Love Southend is delighted to support Helen in raising the funds to make this possible and have sent her a gift from our general funds.
May we encourage you to pray for the raising of all the costs involved; and for the blessing of many as they hear and see music and artwork which convey the mercy and kindness of the Father in their valley of death’s shadow, and become aware of his presence with them?
