Always Hope

Southend CAP Debt Advice Centre have been operating in Southend for over 10 years and
have seen about 500 clients over that period. We help anyone with unmanageable debt
and try to help them move forward from where they are to hopefully become debt free.

We help them with budgeting as we go along so when they are debt free they can
remain so. 150 clients have gone debt free since we started.

Individuals can contact our head office helpline on 0800 328 0006 who will book them
into our next available slot. We can currently see 6 new clients each month.

We are looking at working with the Southend-on-Sea City Council to provide money
management courses. CAP Money has been around for many years and we have a
number of trained CAP Money coaches in the area.

We are also to get another church involved with the CAP Life Skills course.
