How appropriate that our first Love Southend meeting of the autumn is a time of praising Jesus and exalting his name in worship and interceding for Southend; to see the values of God’s heart and his powerful and wholesome ways shape every sphere of our city.
These mornings are a great opportunity for Christians to come together to impact the spiritual atmosphere of our communities. Every one with a desire to pray for our city and who is available is very welcome.
Jeremiah 29:7 – …seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you…
Ephesians 6:18 – And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
James 5:16 – The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
