Do you believe everyone should be able to live in safe, adequate and secure accommodation? Or as God revealed to Micah (4:4) ‘Each will sit under his own grapevine or under his own fig tree without any fear. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has decreed it.’
We have the privilege this evening of hearing from Christians actively involved in bringing their faith in God and his creative love and wisdom into what can seem a complex and overwhelming issue in our community.
Is there good news for housing? Is there more than buying ‘The Big Issue’ that we could do?
We are grateful to Adrian Smith from the Council planning department; Debbie Charles and Louise Merrells from the Salvation Army; and Pete Moss from Hope 3:16 and Kingdom Living for agreeing to be with us, and helping us see something of God’s heart not just for the homeless but for safe, adequate homes for all.
We will take the opportunity to pray for them and their work at the end of the evening.
We look forward to seeing you – feel free to invite a friend.
