Love Southend’s final prayer for the city morning for this year is on Thursday December 12th.
We are very grateful to Andrew Marshall, minister of Westcliff Baptist Church, for hosting and leading our morning this month.
We are convinced regular prayer for our city has a spiritual impact for our communities across Southend. Through worship and interceding for our city we look to God for the values of his heart and his powerful and wholesome ways to shape every sphere of our city, and for people to come into a personal and deepening relationship with Jesus.
Every one with a desire to pray for our city and who is available is very welcome.
Jeremiah 29:7 – …seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you…
Ephesians 6:18 – And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
James 5:16 – The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
