Andy Clipsham
The speaker at Love Southend's Fired Up - History Maker a Song of Praise that takes place in November 2007. Andy is a Lay Reader at St Andrew’s (with St Peter’s) in Shoebury, where he also leads a rather eclectic worship group, which sometimes includes a tuba and a ukulele! Andy has combined his faith with what he has learned as a training practitioner and facilitator, to produce a passion for helping people explore an authentic and relevant gospel for themselves.
 
Fiona Castle (guest speaker)
Hopes & Dreams with Fiona Castle is a Love Southend event that will be held on Wednesday 18th May, 2005 at 8pm at Leigh Road Baptist Church, Marguerite Drive, Leigh. The evening will feature music and interviews and Fiona Castle will be speaking about “Hopes & Dreams”. Fiona will be sharing something of her life experience and her confidence that God is able to bring hope out of despair. J. John (Carols Guest Speaker)
J.John is the guest speaker at the Love Southend Christmas Carols Celebration for the whole community at Cliff Town URC, he is a Greek-Cypriot by birth, lives in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. He is married to Killy and they have 3 sons, Michael, Simeon and Benjamin. J.John became a Christian in 1975. Since then he has gained the position as one of the leading communicators of Christianity today. J.John has been described as refreshing, humorous, passionate, earthy, accessible and dynamic.
 
Jeff Lucas (Guest speaker)
Author and speaker Jeff Lucas travels internationally in a ministry of Bible teaching which carries a specific vision to encourage and equip the church. Originally a church planting pastor, Jeff understands the dynamics of local church life and has a desire to “build” rather than simply “bless” as he teaches and preaches. His ministry is expressed in a number of different ways. He is part of the leadership team of Spring Harvest, and a member of their Council of Management.

For a while, I had my doubts about Rob Parsons. But it was a case of mistaken identity. It started when another Christian leader with a similar name, condemned the Greenbelt Christian Arts Festival, in print. I'm a Greenbelt regular, and so I felt a bit cheesed, whenever I saw or heard his name, after that.
 
Tony Campolo (guest speaker)
Tony Campolo was, as usual, on a preaching tour: this time in the far-flung US State of Hawaii, in the mid Pacific. He'd flown in from the mainland that day, given his first public talk that evening, and, because of time-zone differences, found himself still wide-awake in the early hours of the following morning...
