Urban Extreme Beach Bash

These photos are from the Beach Bash held on the Seafront on Saturday afternoon at the end of the week featuring local girl pop band Collective, Hip Hop from London's MOD, tunes from DJ Squeeky Clean with special guest stars ex-Boyzone Shane Lynch and escapologist Shane Lynch.

Over 1,000 people turned up to party on the day. And sun shined on!

What is Urban Extreme?
Urban Extreme was a week organised by the Youth Leaders from different churches across the borough of Southend in July 2005. It took place in 4 area zones and involved Urban Regeneration projects, kids clubs, clearing rubbish, special events, pamper parlours etc. Over 200 young people from across the churches and schools of the borough gave up a week of their summer holidays to take part and show God's love to their communities.
