Urban Extreme Leigh-on-Sea

The photos here show the Urban Regeneration work, games, and activities that took place in Leigh-on-Sea. Over 60 people were invloved in serving Leigh over the week and we estimate we worked with over 1,000 people.

What is Urban Extreme?
Urban Extreme was a week organised by the Youth Leaders from different churches across the borough of Southend in July 2005. It took place in 4 area zones and involved Urban Regeneration projects, kids clubs, clearing rubbish, special events, pamper parlours etc. Over 200 young people from across the churches and schools of the borough gave up a week of their summer holidays to take part and show God's love to their communities.
